Refund and Returns

At Selmart, your satisfaction and peace of mind are our top priority. We aim to ensure that every stationery, file, folder, and office product you purchase reaches you in perfect condition and meets your expectations. This policy explains our return, replacement, and refund process in a clear and transparent manner.


Order Verification & Quality Checks

Before dispatch, every product goes through strict quality checks, including:

  • Inspection for quality, finish, and usability

  • Secure and protective packaging to avoid transit damage

  • Verification of order accuracy

Only after completing these checks is your order shipped.


Return & Replacement Window

Selmart offers a 7-day replacement guarantee in the following cases:

  • Product received is damaged

  • Product received is defective

  • Wrong item delivered

To be eligible for a replacement:

  • The request must be raised within 7 days of delivery

  • The product must be unused

  • Original packaging, invoice, accessories, and tags must be intact

Once the returned product is received and inspected, a replacement will be dispatched at no additional cost. Replacement delivery usually takes 5–7 business days after successful verification.


Refunds

Refunds are processed only under the following conditions:

  • A replacement is not available

  • The order was cancelled before dispatch

Once approved, refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.


Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and practicality reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or replacement:

  • Products damaged due to misuse or mishandling after delivery

  • Items returned without original packaging or accessories

  • Products showing signs of use

  • Clearance or discounted items (unless damaged or defective on arrival)


How to Initiate a Return or Refund

To request a return or refund:

  • Contact our support team within 7 days of delivery

  • Share your order ID, product details, and reason for return

  • Provide clear photos or videos if the product is damaged or defective

Our team will guide you through the pickup or return process.


Damaged or Missing Deliveries

If your package arrives visibly damaged, we recommend refusing delivery and informing us immediately.

If damage is noticed after opening the package, please report it within 48 hours along with photos or videos.

Missing items or accessories must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.


Warranty & After-Sales Support

Most Selmart products are non-electronic and do not carry manufacturer warranties. For any product-specific warranty (if applicable), details will be mentioned on the product page or invoice.

Issues reported beyond the return window may not be eligible for replacement or refund.
